I was born and live in Scotland and to be honest I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. My love of photography started some 20 plus years ago. Since deciding to turn my hobby into a profession I am enjoying building the business and am busy doing a job that I love. Currently serving in the Royal Air Force as an aircraft electrician and avionics technician I now live in Oxfordshire. My love of photography was born just five years ago when I bought a cheap digital camera to take photos of my baby daughter. I enjoy trying my hand at all kinds of photography but find exploring and photographing the Cotswolds to be the most rewarding. I have lived on the Cheshire/Derbyshire borders all my life and now work as a nurse within the NHS. Photography as a hobby started in 2004, but it has become an important part of my life. David Morris

An interest in photography really began when I bought a Praktica TL5B 35mm film SLR camera in order to take reasonable photographs during fell walking/climbing trips… the climbing/fell walking seems to have faded for all sorts of reasons but the interest in photography goes from strength to strength. I now have a particular interest in portraiture and still-life but will turn my hand to anything.

Hello, my name is Mark, I am 31, and I was born and raised in the Forest Of Dean in Gloucestershire, which consists of approximately 27,000 acres of mixed woodland; this certainly gives me plenty to photograph. I enjoy photography immensely and like all subjects with the exception of people (bet that makes me seem grumpy!). The main body of my work is biased towards close up/macro and wildlife (deer mainly) but I am keen to increase my work in other areas, in particular the landscape genre.

I have been interested in phtoography (mainly as holiday snaps) for over 25 years but, since my move into digital I have been working on improving my technique. I love the variations in shape and colour of landscape and floral subjects. I am always amazed at how light and impact a scene and how it can make the mood of a scene vary over time.
